Tech Home East Africa is recruiting skilled engineers to join our growing technology team. We're looking for disciplined, detail-oriented professionals who deliver high-quality software in structured development environments.

1.   Lead Engineer (1 person only)

Qualifications

• 5-8 years full‑stack engineering experience

• Strong backend experience (Node.js, Python, Go, or Java)

• Experience designing modular architectures and microservices

• Strong DevOps skills (CI/CD, Docker, cloud deployment)

• Experience with authentication, RBAC, and secure API design

• Ability to manage contractors and enforce code quality

• Experience with relational + NoSQL databases

• Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS platforms

• Strong security background (OWASP, encryption, IAM)

• Experience with automation engines, event‑driven systems, or IoT integrations

• Prior experience as a tech lead or engineering manager

• Ability to architect and implement core IP modules independently

2.   Front‑End Developer (2 persons)

Qualifications

• 2 -8 years' experience with React, Vue, or Angular

• Strong UI/UX implementation skills

• Experience consuming REST APIs

• Ability to work with design systems and component libraries

• Experience with large-scale dashboards or multi-role interfaces

• Strong TypeScript and state management (Redux, Pinia, Vuex, Zustand)

• Experience with performance optimisation and accessibility

3.   Backend Developer (2 persons)

Qualifications

• 3 - 8 years of backend development experience

• Strong in Node.js, Python, Go, or Java

• Experience building modular APIs

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

• Experience with queues, caching, and API integrations

• Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS

• Strong security and data modelling background

• Experience with payments, messaging, or workflow engines

• Experience building scalable microservices

4.   Mobile Developer (1 person)

Minimum qualifications

• 2-8 years' experience in Flutter or React Native

• Experience consuming REST APIs

• Ability to build offline-first features and push notifications

• Experience with app store deployment

• Strong architecture skills (clean architecture, MVVM, Bloc, Redux)

• Experience with multi-role apps (resident, guard, admin)

• Experience with secure storage, biometric login, and deep linking
